Frequently asked questions
Will it scratch or hurt my pet's skin?
No. The teeth are sharp enough to grab loose undercoat, but each tip is rounded and smooth — we even demonstrate it with a balloon test. Always brush gently in the direction the hair grows.
Is it suitable for both cats and dogs?
Yes. It works on short double coats, long coats, and thick fluffy coats — for cats, dogs, and even rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and horses. It's sized for small pets, so larger breeds simply take a little longer.
How do I clean it?
Slide the cover along the blades to release all the trapped fur in one motion, then rinse the stainless-steel blades under running water. The whole body is washable and rust-resistant.
How often should I use it?
For most pets, 2–3 times a week keeps shedding under control. During heavy shedding seasons you may want to use it daily for a few minutes per session.
